You have already done all sorts of things

Assessments, testing, training and coaching.
You are used to solving your problems yourself.
By thinking carefully, analysing and taking decisions.

And yet you don't solve that one problem, yourself.
It has become complicated.

Meanwhile, the pressure is mounting.
You don't see what else you could do.
How to get out of this or where to start at all?

I have been counselling people for 20+ years, who are under high pressure and know they will not move forward like this.
Shall we look at it together?

"After much therapy, a coach and advice from many specialists, I came to Menna.
She was quite feisty the first time and then we puzzled it out step by step.

No one has ever gone so deep with me, because I could contact them when I was going through it.
Now I finally have my life on track, found the beginning and have a view of my future."

Marieke – entrepreneur

What are you running into?

I get stuck in my work

  • I know things have to be different. Been walking around with this for a long time.
  • I want something different, but what suits me? Which job, role, employer? How do I make that next step?
  • What is wisdom? What can I really do? And do I really want?
  • I know what I have now. How do I know if another job is a better fit?
  • How do I interact with the culture, colleagues, board of directors, etc.?
  • I know what I want, but not how to get there.

I get stuck in my life

  • I am being pulled on all sorts of sides.
  • I keep many balls in the air. I work hard, but for what?
  • I am well off, but not enjoying what I do.
  • My work comes at the expense of private. I'd rather be at work than at home.
  • I experience anger, agitation at home, find it hard to relax.
  • I just cannot manage to overcome myself; I am insecure, perfectionist, keep running into the same pitfalls, not being seen.

I get stuck in relationships

  • My team, doesn't do what I want.
  • I don't click with my supervisor.
  • I am not comfortable in my skin.
  • I work hard but don't see the results, remain dissatisfied.
  • So much is going on, but how do I stand up for my interests? (Also) things are not going well at home.
  • Always tired. Don't get to myself enough.
  • I am SO critical - especially of myself.

You just don't see it (anymore)

You work hard, looking at it from all angles.
You keep brooding and lying awake because of it.
Again and again the same question, but no answer.

You've dived into it, sought advice and had some use for it. But still something is missing.

You've considered everything, but which is smart? In my case?
And where do I start? And how do I get there in the first place?

Hiring a specialist for 1 part can help.
Your leadership is only about the whole picture and one affects the other.

And regularly the solution lies just outside your own framework, your assumptions are wrong.
Or is it better to try something in a different place than where the problem is.

I regularly hear from clients that I come up with original feedback. That they are surprised with what I come up with. I look differently: at the whole picture, the whole mess, and easily make the connections.

And I keep asking myself 1 question: What is 1 thing you could do or change that will make a difference tomorrow? And what you are unconsciously not doing? That's how you get quick results.

"You unfailingly know how to sort out the sense and nonsense and I need that. I myself keep thinking and no longer know which voice to listen to."

Henrica – senior communications advisor

What are you more than fed up with? Would you like help with?

  • Constantly thinking. Keep spinning in circles. Mulling.
  • Always getting stuck in the same pattern. Always getting the same complaint back.
  • Too many questions, directions, possibilities. WHAT am I going to choose? What is smart?
  • Where am I limiting myself? Am I sabotaging myself? How do I deal with my disabilities?
  • I am being lived. Have no overview.
  • I'm sitting through it. Haven't been comfortable in my skin for some time.
  • Always working. Never good enough. Never ready.
  • I don't know (anymore) who I am, where I am. What do I (really) want? What am I good at?

What do you want more of? What do you deeply desire?

  • Peace and quiet. Unobstructed view. Perspective. Overview. Focus. Balance.
  • Direction and control. Being at the helm; deciding for yourself.
  • Windward. More (in) flow. Easier living.
  • Connection. Support.
  • Being able to set limits.
  • Overcoming what I have struggled with for so long. Success. Achieving goals.
  • Taking knots. Making informed choices.
  • A place where I can better come into my own. Grow. Develop.
  • Comfortable in my skin. Out of survival. Energy. Doing what gives energy.
  • Changing tack. Changing jobs or employers. A new beginning.

Not being understood

I ask for help or advice, but it doesn't really connect.
I also don't know how to articulate exactly what I am up against.

I make a lot of space for others, but who listens to me - really listens to me?
To another, I am a listening ear, but listening to myself I find much more difficult.

I can see how it works for others.
I wish there was an assessment that would really help me, that would give me the answers.

Those around me criticise me, expect everything.
They know exactly what it is: I make it too complicated, etc., but I'm just not comfortable.

Recognisable struggle?

In the end, I became the coach I was looking for myself.
How would it be if someone really listened to you, got involved and showed interest.
That for once it may be all about you.
Someone who listens deeply to what you are struggling with.
And has the wisdom how to deal with it.

"Whenever I have been with you, I always feel like I have visited wisdom.
Things are falling into place."
